We're delighted to announce that astronomer Tom Kerss has officially come on board as our Chief Aurora Chaser. It's the first appointment of its kind in the world.

Tom states, "Norway is the home of the Northern Lights, and without a doubt, sailing Hurtigruten is a floating observatory that is the best way for travellers to witness the wonder of the aurora."

To celebrate our new Chief Aurora Chaser, and to make the most of the current Solar Maximum, we're starting our famous Northern Lights Promise even earlier in September, instead of October. Our guests now have even more chances of catching the aurora borealis. 🤩
