Founder and director of Yak Traver, Alan Palmer is the author of Moroccan Atlas the Trekking Guide (Trailblazer Publications). He has also contributed to a number of other guide books, including Pakistan and The Silk Road, both published by Insight Guides, and The Rough Guide to Morocco and The Rough Guide to the Best 100 Places on Earth 2021, both published by Rough Guides. Additionally, he regularly writes articles for travel magazines and delivers talks and presentations on North-East India, Morocco and Burma (Myanmar) at travel clubs and travel shows, both in England and in India.
