With a background of over 10 years in tour operation, Carmel has travelled extensively across continents, predominantly in Latin America and the Caribbean. She has summited Kilimanjaro and Mt Toubkal, cycled to Paris and Amsterdam, hitchhiked through France and hiked along the Great Wall. Her greatest passion whilst travelling is in learning from the people that she meets along the way, and her trip in Saudi Arabia was an eye-opening first foray into the Middle East.
