Karl's passion for the culinary arts ignited at the tender age of 9, as he spent countless hours experimenting with ingredients, blending them with the precision of a skilled alchemist. Karl's adventurous spirit and curiosity could not be contained. At 19, he left his home in Malta to explore the globe, seeking inspiration and knowledge from various culinary traditions. Over 25 years, he traversed Asia, Australia, Europe and the middle East, working in diverse environments - from bustling city kitchens to luxurious superyachts and private jets.
Upon returning to Malta after a quarter of a century, Karl brought back not only his expertise but also a revitalized sense of purpose. He has committed himself to sharing its flavours with the world. Through workshops, cooking classes, and retreats, Karl connects people to Malta's culinary roots, blending traditional recipes with modern creativity.
