Susan d'Arcy
Hotels Expert,
The Times and Sunday Times
Susan d’Arcy has been writing about luxury travel for more than 25 years. It’s filthy work but as she frequently reminds her editor someone has to do it. Her assignments have included eating gold in Abu Dhabi, being the first person to sleep underwater in the Maldives and even spending a night alone in the Guggenheim Museum in New York as part of an art installation. She also writes about wellness and has been wrapped, slapped, rubbed and scrubbed in the world’s best spas and oversees the annual Sunday Times Best Places to Stay hotel guide.
