Africa is our passion and we have explored the countries we operate in extensively. We have stayed at the camps and lodges, slept in the beds, eaten the food, been on safari with the local guides and experienced the wildlife and habitats.
There are not many other ways we could have experienced Africa - we have flown in light aircraft, hot air balloons and microlights, kayaked, canoed and floated by mokoro in Africa's rivers, deltas and waterways, driven across the plains, deserts and deltas in Africa's National Parks and reserves, explored her rainforests, swam, dived and sailed in the surrounding oceans. We have walked, trekked, hiked and climbed, ridden on horseback, camel and donkey. We have explored the areas you want to see!

African Specialists
Tracks Safaris are African specialists and are continuously travelling to the areas that you want to visit inspecting accommodation and experiencing the product first hand. We travel around 4 or 5 times a year for around 2/3 weeks each time – so that is around 12 weeks every year for 15 years! We really know Africa!
Owner Managed
Tracks Safaris is owner managed and we are totally independent. We will always recommend the best option for your safari and we most likely will have stayed at the camps and lodges and experienced the wildlife before we recommend it to you. You will talk to the same professional, friendly African Travel Expert every time. We offer our clients a level of service seldom found elsewhere: indeed it is our priority to ensure the perfect safari for each and every guest.
Community Support
Tracks Safaris are passionate about ‘putting back’ to both local communities and wildlife organisations in the countries we operate in. We donate at least $10 for every booking to one of our charities and also monitor our suppliers to ensure they are supporting local communities and conservation too. Additionally we support a number of disadvantaged girls through their education in Uganda!
Family Safaris
Tracks Safaris have extensive knowledge and experience of travelling with children of all ages and we use that experience to tailor make your family an itinerary which is well paced and child or teen friendly. Multi generational safaris are our speciality and we would be delighted to assist you with your family safari planning.
No Single Supplements
We will always try and find you a 'no single supplement' safari where there is one available and will also ask our suppliers on your behalf. The best times to look for 'no single supplement' safaris is in the 'green' or 'mid' season - although some operators offer no supplements all the year round. We know the very best places for our single guests - we have stayed there as single guests ourselves and know which camps and lodges look after our single guests the best!
Wildlife Specialists
Tracks Safaris are wildlife specialists, keen photographers and qualified divers. We are passionate about wildlife both above and below the water and have specialist knowledge of where to find specific species, best times to visit and where the best dive sites are.
If you have a favourite species you would like to see - let us know and we will use our experience and expertise to point you in the right direction!
Local Guides
We use local, professional guides in each country we operate in and offer a 24 hour in-country back up service and a UK 24 hour emergency telephone number - so you can get on with enjoying your holiday.
