Daniel Vella McIntyre
I am a professionally trained and qualified chef, having completed five years of culinary education at the culinary school in Malta. Additionally, I also hold a degree in Tourism Studies from the University of Malta. Throughout my career, I have further advanced my skills at two renowned culinary schools in Italy: Castalimenti and Alma.
My professional experience spans various roles in top hotels and restaurants across the island, including major international chains like Hilton and Hyatt Regency. I eventually transitioned to the restaurant industry, a move that brought with it a significant milestone: leading the team at Malta’s first Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant. Following this achievement, I played a key role in the opening of a boutique hotel and a brasserie, and I currently manage its brasserie.
